When centrist weasels like David Fucking Brooks call you “The Least Popular Candidate In History”, you have a serious problem.
Brooks, as you know, is one of the biggest brown nosers on the fucking planet when it comes to rolling over for Republicans.
David Gregory even took the dick out of his mouth long enough to take a deep breath and point out Romney’s unfavorability rating is at 50%.
Brooks was one of several panelists on NBC’s “Meet The Press” roundtable, which dove into some data surrounding Romney’s popularity.
“Look at his high unfavorable ratings,” host David Gregory said. “At 50%. The highest of any candidate running in recent memory. This is an image problem that his philosophical statements in this speech in May to fundraisers only exacerbates.”
Brooks did not mince words, calling Romney “the least popular candidate in history.”
“He has to look at what the president’s weakness is,” Brooks said. “He’s never gonna win a popularity contest.”
Brooks added that Romney “does not have the passion for the stuff he’s talking about.”
“He’s a problem solver,” Brooks said. “I think he’s a non-ideological person running in an extremely ideological age, and he’s faking it.”
I guess in calling half the country a bunch of lazy moochers , Romney forgot those same lazy moochers take polls and also vote.
David Fucking Brooks is right about one thing, Mitt Romney is faking it.
It’s pretty fucking obvious the man isn’t comfortable around large gatherings of the Great Unwashed Masses.
He is stiff and as phoney as a three dollar bill.
But when professional corporate whore fluffers like Gregory and Brooks crawl into the ring of The Mouse Circus and spit out the dick on national television while scrunching their eyes and turning their heads the fucking game is over.
When those two aren’t jumping up and down on the “Like” button like good little cheerleaders the important people will set down the coffee and start making phone calls.
Unfortunately, the time for strategic conference calls is over except for contingency measures.
The Romneybot has failed miserably largely because the Republican party has failed to adapt to the changing political environment and people like Brooks and Gregory going off the reservation at this stage of the game should cause some gimlet eyes to open wide.
