It appears the Republicans are getting pretty nervous now that Obama seems to have taken a solid lead over their boy Romney.
Now they are calling for Romneybot to change course with his campaign and come up with some kind of Hail Mary.
Good luck with that.
Two years of flip flopping and generally vague bullshit claims of what he would actually DO if elected are catching up to his ass.
Some GOP senators are worried that Romney has yet to give voters a clear vision of what to expect if he is to become president.
He has offered no details about any of his fucking magic unicorn fart dust policy changes and now all of a sudden with eight fucking weeks left before the election they expect some kind of miracle.
Republican lawmakers are grumbling about the direction of Mitt Romney’s campaign and say he needs to change course.
The complaints come as polls show that Romney lost ground on President Obama following the party’s respective conventions in Tampa, Fla. and Charlotte, N.C.
The GOP members say Romney must do a better job of communicating to voters what to expect of him, either by making a bold pledge akin to George H.W. Bush’s 1988 “no new taxes” promise or fleshing policy proposals with more details.
They have been hoping that all of the money they have been pissing away on attack ads and the fact that he isn’t Barack Obama would be all it would take.
Boo fucking Hoo, jerks.
What’s cracking my ass up is that they are just now noticing this when it has been so damn obvious to the rest of us for months now.
I guess that’s what happens when ya live in Bizzaro World where the sky is green and up is down instead of the real world like the rest of us.
You can expect to start seeing more obviously Rovian maneuvers coming fast and loose as they pull out all the stops trying to save his sorry chances of winning.
They have proven over and over again that they have no scruples and will stoop to unimaginable lows to obtain their objectives and have absolutely zero shame.
Enjoy the theatrics, don’t be surprised at anything coming and pass the popcorn.
We could very well be watching the last waltz of the current form of the Republican party.
