Sadly, Kristol doesn’t have a thing to worry about. None of the current presidential candidates will do anything about any of this. Well, maybe Clinton or Obama would look into getting us out of Iraq one of these days, if the planets are aligned and the tides are right.
The only candidate who seems to give a shit about the Constitution is Bob Barr. That’s how bad things have gotten.
When I have time to look at a newspaper or read blogs I can’t escape the conclusion that as a nation we’re completely fucked.
I’m so glad I don’t have time to write about it.

The fact that Kristol is considered a “serious” analyst, and not the completely deranged sick-fuck wackaloon nutjob that he is, is a symptom of the deep, deep sickness that infects our polity. We are, indeed, truly fucked.
